Tradition, styled your way.
Beautiful to wear.
Clear to choose.
Explore handpicked sarees, including Banarasi designs, and men's kurtas we manufacture. Choose through colour, fabric and the details that matter to you, with room for different tastes and budgets.
The hands
behind the weave.
Before the drape, the detail.
Before the pattern, the patience.

Look beyond the finished drape and there is another story: threads being arranged, hands at work and attention given to the smallest detail. These glimpses of handloom work remind us why the making deserves to be understood as much as the design.
For us, a connection to Varanasi is also a reason to stay curious about the people, materials and processes behind Indian clothing.
Handloom carries a human connection we value. Powerloom has a place too, offering a different way to create designs for different budgets. Neither a photograph nor a beautiful pattern tells you the whole story.
Our collection is not exclusively handloom. These photographs celebrate the craft. The material and making method of each garment should be understood from its own confirmed product details.
Our strongest promise?
A straight answer.
Materials, clearly described.
Silk and blends each have their place. We describe what is confirmed, without dressing a fabric up with a more impressive name.
Making, without mythology.
We use handloom or handcrafted only when confirmed. We want you to appreciate a piece for what it actually is.
Value you can understand.
Look at the fabric, dimensions, finish and included pieces alongside the price. Ask us when you need more detail.
Before you fall in love
with the photograph.
A little clarity makes choosing feel better.
I saw a similar saree for less elsewhere. Why the price difference?
It is a fair question. Similar-looking sarees can differ in fibre composition, weave, weight, dimensions and finishing. Those differences can affect the feel, drape and how a garment wears over time. A photograph alone cannot establish quality or durability.
We cannot judge another seller's piece without its specifications. Compare the details alongside the price, and ask us about anything unclear in ours. If we cannot confirm a detail, we will say so.
Are all your sarees pure silk, handloom or handcrafted?
No. We do not use those terms as blanket descriptions. Our collection includes different materials and making methods. Check the individual product description for what is confirmed about that piece.
Is the blouse in the photograph included with the saree?
Unstitched blouse fabric is included at no extra cost and requires tailoring. The model's blouse is for styling only. The fabric you receive may be completely different in colour, design and fabric from the blouse pictured.
Is a pyjama included with every kurta?
Yes, a pyjama is included at no extra cost. Its colour may differ from the one shown in the photographs.
Will the actual garment colour match the photographs exactly?
Actual garment colours may vary slightly due to lighting and screen settings.
Can you help me understand a piece before I choose?
Of course. Email info@violetheritage.com with the product name or link and your question. We will share the information we can confirm.
